Trekking in the desert

Day 1: MARRAKECH
Arrival at the airport of Marrakech, welcome and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: MARRAKECH
City Tour of Marrakech. You will visit the Bahia Palace and the royal necropolis of the Saadian Tombs. After lunch, visit of the Jemaa El Fna square and the Koutoubia minaret. Guided tour of a souk and its trades: carpenters, babouchiers, dry cleaners. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: MARRAKECH / OUARZAZATE / ZAGORA (362 KM)
After breakfast, departure to Zagora via Ouarzazate, crossing the high Atlas. Lunch and visit of the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Continuation to Zagora via Agdz, through the Draa valley. Dinner and overnight at the Riad.

Day 4: ZAGORA / m’HAMID / OUED NAAM
After breakfast, departure to Mhamid to meet your guide and your camel farmers in order to begin the walk and on camels back to the dunes of Oued Naam where you will bivouquer near a well gathering the Nomads and their herds. Dinner and overnight in the tent.

Day 5: OUED NAAM / OUED latach
You will resume your hiking on the slopes in rocky trails, lunch near a canyon. In the afternoon, you will cross a desert plateau to reach Oued latach, the ideal place for a bivouac in nature. Dinner and overnight in the tent.

Day 6: OUED latach / OUM LAALAG / CHEGAGA
After breakfast, you will go to discover a small isolated oasis in Oum Laalag, to have a picnic near the sacred spring. In the afternoon, you will sink into the sand dunes to settle in a dream camp surrounded by large sand dunes. Dinner and overnight in the tent.

Day 7: CHEGAGA / BOUGARN
After breakfast, you will resume your hike between the sand dunes. Picnic along the way then continue to Bougarn. Dinner and overnight in the tent.

Day 8: BOUGARN / ERG LIHOUDI
After breakfast, you will resume your journey in the desert. Lunch en route. You will reach the large dunes of erg Lihoudi (the dunes of the Jew) where you will arrive at your campsite. Festive dinner with Sahara atmosphere, around a large campfire and accommodation in nomadic tents.

Day 9: ERG LOHOUDI / m’HAMID / ZAGORA
After breakfast, transfer to Mhamid then to Zagora. Dinner and overnight at the Riad.

Day 10: ZAGORA
Free day at the Riad in full board.

Day 11: ZAGORA / OUARZAZATE / back (160 KM OU 360 KM)
Transfer to Ouarzazate airport or transfer to Marrakech for your return flight.
